Joining them, Los Angeles dreampop band Second Still, Berlin goth trio Totenwald, Philadelphia's The Ire, and darkwave solo artist Yama Uba (Akiko of Otzi). Jynx's unusual Ice/Psychic type may reference Yama-uba's typical location in icy mountains, as well as her supernatural powers and her consideration by some to be a spirit affecting the weather, namely winter weather. Also, Yama-uba is known to seduce her victims by dancing, which is often referenced by Jynx's Pokedex entries within Pokemon Apr 08, 2014 Let the children name their band Diarrhea Planet and let the children dance! Diarrhea Planet play happy guitar rock anthems that sound like Fang Island meets The Ramones meets early Superchunk.

That summer, the band signed to Nashville's Infinity Cat Recordings (home of Jeff theBrotherhood, Heavy Cream, Natural Child, Pujol, and more) and released the 7" Yama-Uba as part of Infinity Cat's Econolineseries. The band has traveled throughout the East coast on extensive self-booked tours in support of their two releases.
Yamanba This was originally released as part of Infinity Cat Recordings' Econoline 7" series. There were 300 pressed on black vinyl.
